Luigi joined Notre Dame in 2016, and over the past five years has served as the director of retail, director of student dining, and most recently, executive director of Campus Dining.
Prior to joining Notre Dame, Luigi spent 15 years in Las Vegas as a leader in the food and beverage industry. Specifically, he served as the director of restaurants at Mandalay Bay Resort and director of food and beverage at Monte Carlo. Luigi also served as general manager at some of the most premier Vegas restaurants (e.g., Valentino, Diego Mexican Cuisine, and Fiamma Trattoria).
Luigi earned his Hotel Business Administration degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar - Coastal Campus. He is a first level certified Court of Master Sommelier and a certified Sake Sommelier.
