Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
I write to share additional information regarding the University’s on-campus vaccination program for students, faculty, and staff.
As you may know, the University, along with other Indiana colleges and universities, was recently approved by the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) to administer on-campus COVID-19 vaccinations in April and May. We will administer these vaccinations inside the Compton Family Ice Arena, and will receive enough Pfizer vaccine for every Notre Dame student to be fully vaccinated with the requisite two doses before the conclusion of classes in the spring semester. We will also have some availability for faculty and staff to receive the vaccine at our on-campus center.
- To help the University focus on vaccine administration to students before the semester ends, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue to utilize the vaccination sites in the local community for appointments rather than scheduling an appointment on-campus. It is important to note that if you receive your first dose at a local vaccination site, the University will not be able to administer your second dose at the on-campus center.
- If accessing a vaccination site or appointment in the local community is a challenge, the University can accommodate you at our on-campus center. Appointments for the first dose of the vaccine at the on-campus vaccination center will be from Thursday, April 8 through Thursday, April 15. The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. At your first appointment, you will make arrangements to receive your second dose at the vaccination center exactly three weeks from when you received your first dose, between Thursday, April 29 and Thursday, May 6.
- In the coming days you will receive an email from Zotec Partners, the company that the Indiana Department of Health utilizes to provide technical support through the vaccination process, to schedule your on-campus vaccine. You should only use this link if you need to schedule your first dose at the on-campus center. Within the email, you will receive a unique link to schedule your first dose of the vaccine. Please note that the link provided will only allow for you to schedule your first dose and should not be forwarded.

While the news of the on-campus vaccine site is extremely encouraging, due to the University’s communal environment, the University will maintain its current mask wearing, surveillance testing, and broader health and safety protocols until further notice.
Thank you for taking the steps necessary to support the health of our entire community.
In Notre Dame,
Brian Fremeau
Director, Vaccine Administration Team (VAT)
